Jennifer L. Therazin

Associate

Jennifer L. Therazin focuses her practice on defending corporations in product liability and toxic tort litigation, including asbestos and cosmetic talcum powder, and typical commercial products involving personal injury and wrongful death claims.

 

She is involved in all phases of litigation, including drafting responsive pleadings, dispositive motions, and written discovery. Additionally, she conducts extensive document reviews, assists in depositions, and supports trial preparation. Jennifer joined the firm following nearly four years at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, where she gained extensive litigation experience as both a misdemeanor and felony prosecutor. Having completed nearly a dozen trials, she has managed dockets of hundreds of cases, overseeing them from indictment through to resolution. Her experience encompasses conducting hearings, as well as preparing and arguing motions in court.

Jennifer earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law. During her time in law school, she gained valuable experience as a legal extern with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, clerked for the Honorable Judge Thomas Cox at the Superior Court of Fulton County, and worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor.
