Employment law attorney Jessiah Jefferson represents defendant employers in workplace disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Jessiah supports clients through all phases of employment litigation by delivering thorough legal research, clear written advocacy, and careful attention to factual development in complex and sensitive matters.

Jessiah’s foundation in employment litigation and administrative law was shaped early in her career through public-sector and judicial experience. She interned with the Long Beach Prosecutor’s Office, where she completed research and writing assignments, including case summaries and closing statements—and participated in professional seminars led by judges and trial attorneys. This experience strengthened her analytical skills and introduced her to litigation strategy and courtroom practice.

Building on that foundation, Jessiah served as a judicial intern for an Administrative Law Judge at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Los Angeles. In that role, she conducted in-depth legal research and drafted memoranda addressing employment-related claims, requiring careful analysis of administrative records and application of federal statutes and regulations. This experience sharpened her ability to evaluate complex fact patterns, frame legal issues efficiently, and produce clear, decision-ready written work.

Jessiah later applied this training in the private sector, where she assisted in defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Her experience includes legal research and writing, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing motions, and supporting case strategy from early investigation through resolution. Together, these experiences inform her current practice, allowing her to anticipate issues, identify key facts, and support effective defense strategies for employer clients.

Jessiah earned her J.D. from USC Gould School of Law and holds a B.A. in English from California State University, Long Beach, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
