Jessica Adeline Schulberg is an experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on commercial litigation, white collar defense, government investigations, and technology-related disputes. Before joining the firm, she served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the Southern District of California (2021–2025) and as an Active-Duty Judge Advocate General in the United States Air Force (2017–2021). She has completed eight federal trials and handled hundreds of matters involving fraud, digital forensics, cyber issues, and complex investigative work.
- Led a multi-agency team (IRS‑CI, FBI, DOL‑OIG, HSI, and the California EDD) in complex financial‑crimes investigations, resulting in the prosecution of a $1.4 million Romanian theft ring involving California unemployment fraud and money laundering, as well as a separate $5 million, 14-defendant unemployment fraud conspiracy.
- First‑chaired two federal trials in SDCA involving conspiracy to import methamphetamine and importation of methamphetamine under 21 U.S.C. §§ 952, 960, and 963, securing guilty verdicts on all counts.
- Served as Brigade‑level Joint Operations Center embedded JAG at Joint Task Force–Guantanamo Bay, advising the Joint Detention Group Commander on high‑visibility detention operations and Law of Armed Conflict matters.
- Secured conviction in a high‑visibility General Court‑Martial in the United Kingdom involving attempted receipt of child pornography and attempted child sexual assault, relying on key digital forensic analysis and coordination with British authorities under the NATO Status of Forces Agreement.
