Jocelyn has over 25 years of experience in managing mass and complex environmental and toxic tort litigation on behalf of product suppliers and premise owners, with an emphasis on asbestos, silica and talc claims, as well as diacetyl and PFAS claims. Jocelyn has also represented clients in breach of contract/habitability claims, construction claims and claims involving alleged ADA (“Americans with Disabilities Act”) violations. As part of her practice, Jocelyn integrates effective and early evaluation of high exposure cases, balancing risk management for the client.
- Successfully obtained complete defense verdict on behalf of contractor defendant in first ever asbestos-related renal cancer trial in San Francisco County (December 2017);
- For nearly two decades, served as lead attorney on behalf of contractor and product defendants in hundreds of toxic tort claims, managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice and jury trial;
- Counseled clients on risk mitigation strategies, policies, and procedures, and favorably settled hundreds of claims on behalf of her clients;
- Representative clients include general contractors, subcontractors, premise owners, product suppliers, manufacturers of building and construction products, industrial equipment, automobile brake and friction products and automobile manufacturers.
