As a member of the Advertising & E-Commerce practice group, John Allaire provides guidance on a wide range of advertising and marketing issues, helping clients navigate the complex regulatory landscape to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. His expertise spans a wide array of areas, including claim substantiation, email and text messaging campaigns, autorenewal programs, endorsements, online reviews, and influencer marketing.

With extensive experience in real-money gaming compliance, John is well-versed in the legal requirements surrounding online gaming advertising. John also assists businesses in developing and executing sweepstakes, promotions, and loyalty programs. In addition to his counseling work, John also has experience representing companies in regulatory matters involving the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), defending companies against competitor challenges before the National Advertising Division (NAD), and helping companies enforce their trademark rights.

Prior to joining GRSM, John was an associate at a national boutique firm, where he focused on advertising and privacy matters. John is also certified as an Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
