Jordan D. Dillard

Associate

Jordan D. Dillard’s practice focuses on healthcare litigation and medical malpractice defense. She represents healthcare providers and institutions in complex litigation matters and assists with all phases of case development, including legal research and analysis, motion practice, discovery management, depositions, and trial preparation.

Jordan has experience defending claims involving medical negligence and professional liability. Her work includes drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs; managing discovery and document production; coordinating with experts; and assisting in the development of case strategy through fact investigation and deposition preparation.

During law school, Jordan gained extensive experience in healthcare law and regulatory matters through externships and fellowships with leading healthcare institutions and government agencies. She served as a spring extern with the Office of General Counsel at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she conducted legal research, participated in client meetings, and supported litigation and regulatory matters. She also worked as a summer legal fellow with the Georgia Hospital Association, researching legislative updates affecting healthcare institutions and preparing policy summaries to assist hospitals in maintaining compliance with evolving legal requirements. In addition, she served as a summer legal fellow with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she supported legal, compliance, and risk management initiatives.

Jordan earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Health Law Society and Recruitment Chair of the Negotiations Team. She was a regional Co-Champion in the American Bar Association Negotiation Competition and received the Edward J. Henning Memorial ADR Award in recognition of her work in alternative dispute resolution. She earned her B.A. in English, with a minor in Communications, from Villanova University where she also served as team captain for the Division I Villanova Women’s Basketball Team during the 2016-2017 season.

Before attending law school, Jordan spent a year in Rwanda as a Basketball Health Corps Fellow with Shooting Touch, where she trained local coaches to operate youth sports programs and helped organize community health initiatives that provided free health screenings and wellness education.
