Joseph ("Joe") Z. Alisa is an Associate in the Salt Lake City office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Joe has a diverse civil litigation practice that includes the representation of insurance agents and brokers, officers and directors, and businesses in a wide array of actions, including contract, tort, product liability, malpractice, professional liability and breach of fiduciary duty claims. He also regularly represents insurers and claims handlers in coverage and bad faith litigation.

After law school, Joe worked in the Civil Division of the Utah County Attorney’s Office before entering private practice. Since then, he has represented clients in state, federal, and bankruptcy court. He has experience handling extensive electronic discovery and related documents retention and review.

During his time in the Civil Division at the Utah County Attorney’s office, Joe also gained experience in criminal law; and after entering private practice, he also represented clients in criminal matters.
