Jessica L. Sartorius is a seasoned litigator, with more than 20 years of experience representing clients in state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Jessica’s practice areas include employment matters, as well as complex civil and commercial litigation, including defending clients against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, and employment-related tort claims including negligence and fraud. Jessica has offered expert legal counsel and served as lead attorney for multiple business-related matters, from initiating suit to resolution, including trials, arbitration, and mediation.

Jessica worked for several law firms prior to joining GRSM, including a premier boutique employment firm where she represented plaintiffs. Thus Jessica has unique expertise in litigating disputes from both the employer and employee perspective that serves her corporate clients well. In addition to her legal work, Jessica launched and managed George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School’s Juris Master (JM) Degree Program, a master of legal studies degree designed for students to gain legal expertise in their current profession. While serving as Director of the JM Degree Program, Jessica taught Introduction to U.S. Law.
