Kelly Chan is a litigator, dedicated to advising and representing corporate and public entity clients across a broad spectrum of defense litigation matters. Her expertise spans real estate, personal injuries, product liability, complex litigation, and other general liability defense. She meticulously handles all phases of pre-trial litigation, including case management, written discovery, depositions, motion arguments, and trial preparation.

Before joining GRSM, Kelly honed her skills representing corporate clients and public entities throughout California. Her previous work encompassed general liability, habitability, labor, employment, intellectual property, and business-related matters. Notably, Kelly has a proven record of success in arguing demurrers and motions to strike, leading to the dismissal of plaintiff’s causes of action in habitability, product liability, and personal injury cases, and has consistently achieved favorable and cost-effective resolutions in high-stakes litigation for her clients.

Originally from Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Kelly is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. As a first-generation post-graduate, she is a strong advocate for accessible education and legal services, actively participating in the Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association. She also volunteers at legal clinics, providing vital resources to participants. In her personal time, Kelly enjoys golfing, discovering new recipes, and exploring local restaurants.
