Katherine A. Bruce is an experienced trial and class action attorney who prosecutes and defends single plaintiff, mass tort, class, and representative claims at all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, with matters resolving in seven to nine figure settlements.

Katherine’s expertise in various industries and matters span labor and employment disputes, PAGA and class actions, chronic and acute exposure to toxins, false advertising and consumer protection, pharmaceuticals and health supplements, security and crowd management control, healthcare, financial products, business torts, fire losses, hazardous or defective consumer products, automobile and aircraft design defects, habitability and premises liability, bad faith insurance claims and coverage disputes, secondary liability doctrines, and wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and sexual assault claims.

Before joining GRSM, Katherine served as certified class counsel in federal and state cases in California and New York, lead counsel on hundreds of motions and hearings including motions for summary adjudication or judgment, demurrers and motions to dismiss, motions to resolve discovery disputes, motions in limine and to exclude expert opinions, trial motions, class certification motions, and motions to approve settlements. She also served as lead counsel on more than 150 party, percipient witness, corporate representative, and expert depositions, second-chaired four trials, and co-lead counsel on five appeals and writs.
