Prior to joining GRSM, Kendall practiced employment law at a boutique firm in Milwaukee. There, she gained experience litigating all types of employment-related matters, providing counsel on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage disputes. Kendall has represented clients through the lifecycle of employment claims brought under state and federal law, including the ADA, ADEA, ERISA, FMLA, Title VII, Title IX, and the WFEA. Kendall’s practice includes pre-litigation resolution, navigation of agency proceedings, and strategic advancement of cases through litigation.
Before entering practice, Kendall earned her Juris Doctor and Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Marquette University. During law school, she served as Managing Editor of the Midwest Black Law Students Association (BLSA) Journal of Law & Policy, Academic Chair of Marquette University’s BLSA chapter, and a member of the Student Advisory Board for the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics. Kendall also engaged in pro bono work through the Expungements and Pardons Clinic as well as other community-based legal initiatives.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Kendall has long been driven by a commitment to effective advocacy. Kendall received her Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University’s Philosophy, Politics & the Public Honors Program, with a minor in Business.
