Kevin Liu is a Partner in the San Francisco office of GRSM and a member of the Commercial Litigation and Appellate practice groups. Liu has represented clients in all phases of litigation including obtaining excellent results at trial and on appeal. He focuses on commercial litigation and class action cases involving consumer fraud, breach of contract, and unfair business practices. Liu has successfully litigated matters involving officer and shareholder liability, professional malpractice, environmental compliance, and general real estate and business disputes.
- Obtained complete dismissal for individual attorney and law firm against claims brought by union members alleging conspiracy, aiding and abetting, and violation of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act.
- Successfully briefed partnership dispute before the California Court of Appeal and obtained complete reversal of trial court’s order along with reinstatement of jury award of $292,000 in favor of client.
- Obtained award of lost profit damages and recovery of attorney’s fees of over $575,000 as the prevailing party for a franchise owner and builder of a popular restaurant in a commercial lease dispute.
