Kimberly Zapata is a Partner in the San Diego office of GRSM. Ms. Zapata is a complex business litigator with over thirty years of experience litigating numerous and various federal and state court matters, including, disability discrimination, gender and race discrimination, wage and hour claims, wrongful termination, breach of contract, fraud, interference with business relationships, patent and trademark infringement, unfair competition, and anti-trust.

Directed multidisciplinary litigation teams, in numerous several jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and mediations.

Negotiated numerous nuisance value, and total recovery settlements on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.

Crafted numerous winning dispositive (e.g., motions for summary judgment), and procedural (e.g., motions to dismiss) briefs. Most recently, Ms. Zapata won a motion for summary judgment on all claims for race, national origin and disability discrimination brought against her client by an ex-employee. She also won an award of attorney fees and costs as the prevailing party.
