Kevin K. Peek

Senior Counsel

Kevin K. Peek focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense, correctional healthcare litigation, general liability, and intellectual property law. As an intellectual property attorney, Kevin advises clients on patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation strategies. He also works to protect, defend, and enforce trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and other IP assets for clients.

Kevin has extensive experience representing clients in state and federal courts across Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, and Iowa. He has served as lead and second-chair counsel in complex cases, particularly in healthcare litigation, defending medical professionals and institutions in both correctional and hospital settings with favorable results. Further, Kevin handles pro bono legal matters through Land of Lincoln Legal Aid to those who otherwise would not have access to legal representation.

In addition to his litigation practice, Kevin is dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal profession. He served as President of the Missouri Asian American Bar Association from 2021 to 2022 and was honored by Missouri Lawyers Weekly for his contributions to diversity initiatives. Kevin was also selected for the prestigious NAPABA Leadership Advancement Program for 2024–2025.
