Lailah A. Elliott

Associate

Lailah Elliott focuses her practice on commercial litigation.

Lailah graduated from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Throughout law school, Lailah served on the Executive Board of the SMU Black Law Students Association and was a student member in the Judge Elmo B. Hunter Legal Center for Victims of Crimes Against Women.

At GRSM, Lailah’s practice includes defending corporations in a variety of areas including, professionals (insurance agents, lawyers, architects, contractors, doctors, engineers, accountants, realtors) and healthcare institutions in malpractice disputes. She also represents large and small businesses in a wide array of Torts, Fiduciary Claims, and Contractual Disputes.

Lailah has experience participating in all phases of litigation, including drafting responsive pleadings; drafting dispositive motions; drafting written discovery; conducting extensive document reviews; and participating in depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
