Lisa An is a civil litigation attorney representing clients in a variety of matters, including toxic tort, product liability, government entity liability, premises liability, and professional liability. She is involved in all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts, including extensive law and motion practice, working with experts, attendance at court hearings and mediations, taking and defending depositions, trial preparation, trial, and appellate work.

Lisa has extensive experience defending companies involved in the manufacturing of a broad spectrum of products, including chemicals, medical devices, and end-consumer products. Her practice also included professional liability matters, with particular emphasis on the defense of lawyers in malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty actions. In 2013, she second-chaired a trial that resulted in a defense verdict on behalf of a medical device manufacturer against claims by 65 plaintiffs, successfully arguing that the company was not the alter ego or successor in interest to the actual manufacturer of the devices. Since then, she second-chaired trials involving asbestos exposure, wrongful death resulting from police misconduct, breach of contract, and an admitted liability damages trial.

Earlier in her career, Lisa worked extensively on regulatory and compliance matters, led a national recall campaign, and handled multiple wrongful death products liability cases for an international motorcycle helmet manufacturer.
