Lance Melamud is an attorney practicing in the area of commercial litigation. He has litigated complex matters in both state and federal courts. During his career, he has advised and represented companies of all sizes as well as individuals in a variety of commercial matters.
- Successful multi-million dollar judgment enforcement and collection against a judgment debtor law firm for the judgment creditor client.
- Successful real property possession actions in excess of 800 separate evictions, unlawful detainers, and ejectments during the Covid pandemic.
- Successful representation of commercial property owner in retaking possession of real estate and investment properties, including effectuating completion of essential conditions to client’s multi-million dollar commercial real estate sale and securing satisfaction of seller’s contractual obligations in order to proceed with transaction consummation by successfully ensuring the compliance and vacating of multiple commercial tenants within a sixty day window.
- Attended appellate argument before the United States Court of Appeals in Washington, DC in an intellectual property matter involving a major toy manufacturer.
