Lauren Bruce focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, government law, and risk management. She brings more than a decade of experience advising large government organizations on high stakes federal, state, and appellate matters involving civil rights, employment, wrongful death, and personal injury claims with multi million dollar exposure.

Earlier in her career, Lauren served as principal legal advisor to a county government serving approximately 800,000 residents, where she oversaw the litigation and risk portfolio, supervised in house litigation teams, and managed outside counsel on complex matters. She regularly advised the Board of Commissioners and executive leadership on high risk and high profile issues, including presenting legal options in executive session and supporting public meetings. Her appellate experience includes oral argument before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Lauren also has extensive experience in contracts, insurance coverage, indemnification, employment matters, policy development, and legislative compliance.
