Lauren S. Bruce focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, government law, and risk management. Lauren brings fifteen years of litigation experience in federal, state, and appellate courts, representing government entities and employees against civil rights, employment, wrongful death, and personal injury claims.

As former in-house counsel for a large metro-Atlanta county, Lauren served as a principal legal advisor to county elected officials and employees on a variety of matters, including litigation, contracts, insurance coverage, indemnification, employment matters, policy development, and overall risk reduction. Lauren oversaw the county’s litigation and risk portfolio, supervised the in house litigation team, and managed outside counsel on complex matters. Her appellate experience includes oral argument before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
