Leena Moten has more than 17 years of experience handling matters from initial case assessment through trial. She has extensive first-chair trial experience and focuses on commercial litigation and insurance defense matters, including construction litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, automobile accidents, breach of contract, product liability, and premises liability.

Earlier in her career, Leena served for more than 16 years as a Deputy Public Defender III with the County of San Diego, Office of the Primary Public Defender. She represented clients facing serious misdemeanor and felony charges from intake through trial, including jury selection and trying cases to verdict. She researched, drafted, and argued motions and represented clients in bail, sentencing, probation, and preliminary hearings.
