Levi E. Jones focuses his practice on commercial litigation matters, trust and estate litigation, and the defense of tort claims. Drawing on experience in the federal government, private practice, and the non-profit sector, Levi represents clients through all phases of litigation.

In his commercial litigation practice, Levi focuses on disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, real estate disputes, and community association disputes.

Levi also regularly represents clients in trust and estate disputes, including challenges to wills and trusts; claims involving executors, trustees, and fiduciaries; and disputes relating to powers of attorney and guardianships and conservatorships.

Finally, Levi’s tort defense practice involves defending clients in claims for premises liability, auto and trucking accidents, and professional liability claims.

Levi served for more than a decade in the Office of the General Counsel for the United States Department of Commerce, where he handled a wide variety of liability and litigation matters involving agencies and bureaus located across the United States and internationally. Earlier in his career, he handled environmental, construction, employment, and franchise litigation matters in the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC region. He also completed a one-year fellowship with the Natural Resources Defense Council, supporting a team litigating environmental disputes in California and Washington, DC.

Levi has extensive experience investigating and negotiating the resolution of tort claims asserted against the federal government. He has also been part of teams that prevailed in complex litigation at the motions stage and at trial in state and federal courts.
