During law school, Maeve contributed extensively to pro bono projects focused on appellate matters, including work related to a petition for certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States and legislative history research in support of an amicus brief. Her experience includes assisting with significant legal research and writing for appeals, evaluating and framing key legal issues for review, and developing oral advocacy skills. In acknowledgement of her commitment to public service, Maeve received special recognition at graduation for completing more than 100 pro bono hours.
Maeve also brings a strong interest and background in privacy and data-related issues. She assisted with research projects involving data privacy, e-discovery, and attorney-client privilege, and authorized a published law review note examining consumer-facing spyware and its privacy implications. Her interest in this area was further recognized when she was awarded the 2025 Charleston CyberLaw Forum Data Privacy Scholarship.
Outside of work, Maeve likes to spend time with her two Yorkies, Ricky and Georgie.
