Marti Worms focuses her practice on all aspects of employment law and has significant experience in commercial litigation, ranging from discovery and other pre-trial litigation to representing clients at arbitration and trial.
- Drafted bench memoranda, proposed orders and opinions for the Court’s review and issuance in parties’ discovery disputes on motions to compel, for protective order, to seal and for sanctions.
- Managed civil docket and workflows on the Court’s internal Electronic Case Management system for more than 250 civil cases under federal jurisdiction including habeas corpus and civil rights.
- Secured complete dismissal of action for client, Ford Motor Co., on summary judgment motion.
- Associate trial counsel for defendant General Motors in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, which resulted in a jury verdict for the defense.
