Matthew S. Vesterdahl is a multi-jurisdictional litigator and counselor based out of the Sacramento office of GRSM. Matthew maintains a robust litigation practice which includes Employment, Construction, and Commercial Litigation throughout various state and federal courts. Matthew provides clients with a wide range of services, from pre-claim counseling, training, and advice on risk mitigation and best practices for avoiding future claims, through the litigation process and dispositive motions, and ultimately through trial and arbitration.

Matthew’s employment practice focuses on the defense of employers in a variety of administrative and civil claims, including class actions and single plaintiff cases, involving claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, labor disputes, and wage and hour violations. Matthew represents businesses in complex commercial matters dealing with fraud-based claims, contract-based disputes, unfair competition claims, and breach of non-disclosure and non-competition agreements. Matthew also represents clients in general liability, personal injury, transportation and trucking, and construction cases. Matthew’s construction litigation practice includes representation of subcontractors and manufacturers in commercial and residential high-rise, mid-rise, and residential projects.
