Max H. Trembitsky is Senior Counsel in the New York office of GRSM and is a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Max specializes in product liability defense with a focus on defending domestic and foreign manufacturers and distributors in civil litigation throughout the United States and internationally.
- Secured the voluntary dismissal of a state court product liability lawsuit on behalf of a power strip manufacturer, involving a total-loss incident and a multi-million-dollar settlement demand.
- Prevailed on appeal in a lawsuit against a power strip manufacturer seeking $1 million in damages, arising from severe electrical burns sustained by a 15-year-old plaintiff when a metallic necklace contacted the exposed prongs of an iPhone charger that was partially plugged into a power strip.
- Successfully resolved a multi-million dollar exposure personal injury lawsuit against a leading cellphone manufacturer and retailer alleging that the cellphone’s battery failed and severely burned the plaintiff’s leg.
- Obtained dismissal and prevailed on appeal of lawsuit against electric scooter manufacturer seeking recovery of $20 million dollars for traumatic brain injuries caused when the brakes on an allegedly defective scooter failed to operate.
