Mayara Gallego de Moura

Before joining GRSM, Mayara led the non‑performing loan department at a São Paulo firm, recovering approximately $50 million for creditor clients. Her Brazilian practice focused on insolvency proceedings, debt collection, credit recovery involving bonds and debt instruments, corporate liability analysis, and distressed real estate matters. She also handled appeals, appeared before judges, and negotiated settlements between creditors and debtors.

Since joining GRSM, Mayara has supported attorneys across a broad range of practice areas including employment law, personal injury, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy, providing research, drafting, and litigation support. She earned her LL.M. and a Business Certificate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she also worked as a research assistant helping faculty update publications and prepare articles using Westlaw and LexisNexis.
