Megan M. Mitchell is a Partner in the Houston office of GRSM and is a member of the Employment Law and the Product & General Liability Practice Groups. She has extensive experience litigating employment claims for employers in state and federal courts and in arbtiration, including claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act, the National Labor Relations Act, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act the Family Medical Leave Act and similar federal and state statutes and regulations. Megan also regularly represents clients before the EEOC, TWC, and DOL.

  • Megan has successfully obtained strategic dismissals or summary judgments in cases filed in court and arbitration involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, sexual harassment, disability discrimination, and retaliation.
