Melissa Kim focuses on representing clients in a variety of practice areas. They have a multidisciplinary background spanning law, technology, and the humanities. Melissa earned their J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where they developed a strong foundation for legal writing and communication.

Melissa’s legal interests lies mainly at the intersection of technology and the law. As a Law, Science, and Innovation Center Scholar and McCarthy Institute Student Fellow at ASU Law, they conducted and oversaw research focused on copyright, right of publicity, artificial intelligence soft law governance, and quantum computing. They also served as Submissions Chair for the Arizona State Sports & Entertainment Law Journal, reflecting their interest in IP and entertainment law.
