Litigation attorney Michael A. Stephani has extensive experience representing a diverse array of lenders, large and small businesses, and individuals in commercial disputes ranging from simple debt recovery matters to high-exposure, high-stakes breach of contract matters and tort claims. Michael has represented the same clients in bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including chapter 7, 11, and 12 bankruptcies, receiverships, and assignments for the benefit of creditors. Michael has also played significant roles in trust and estate, employment, and product liability litigation.

While a staunch advocate in front of the court and at trial, Michael also recognizes the value in resolving cases through settlement when in his client’s interest and knows not every legal dispute needs to be a knock-down drag-out fight. Drawing on his many years as a former small business owner, Michael understands the financial considerations at the forefront of every stakeholder’s mind when a dispute arises and always takes these into account when formulating litigation strategy.
