Michael Appel has significant civil defense experience, including general liability, transportation, construction, equine, and business litigation matters. He has extensive experience handling cases from start to settlement, including drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, conducting discovery, and negotiating favorable resolutions.

Before joining GRSM, Michael represented several of the largest commercial trucking companies in general civil litigation and insurance defense matters. Additionally, Michael defended large homebuilders, commercial developers, and general contractors on construction defect disputes over multi-million dollar residential projects.
