Natalie A. Hammond

Associate

Natalie A. Hammond is an Associate in the Missoula office of GRSM. Natalie represents clients in a diverse range of complex civil litigation matters, including class actions. Her litigation practice includes professional liability, construction defects, tort, employment litigation, and insurance coverage matters. Additionally, Natalie defends claims involving healthcare facility abuse and neglect. She represents clients in both state and federal courts, as well as at the trial court and appellate levels.

Prior to joining GRSM, Natalie represented clients in variety of matters including business disputes, medical malpractice, employment issues, marital dissolution proceedings, and child custody disputes. In addition, Natalie has experience in providing estate planning advice and handling probate matters.

Natalie brings a broad range of experience, including first-chair trial work, managing all phases of discovery, developing effective litigation strategies, successfully negotiating on behalf of clients, participating in mediations, and providing ongoing counsel and guidance throughout the litigation process. She is a strong advocate for her clients at every stage of litigation.

Natalie is a sixth generation and deeply rooted Montanan. Outside of the office Natalie spends time cheering on the Red Sox, New England Patriots, and University of Montana Grizzlies and enjoying the lakes and rivers of Montana.

  • Acted as lead trial counsel and achieved a favorable jury verdict for the client in a discrimination and wrongful termination case against their employer.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of insurance carrier in a subrogation dispute.
  • Handled multiple high-stakes marital dissolution proceedings, securing favorable results for clients in matters involving substantial assets and closely held businesses.
  • Served as co-counsel in an appeal before the Montana Supreme Court, resulting in a partial reversal of the district court’s ruling in favor of the client.
