She is passionate about supporting California employers, whom she deeply respects and believes are key drivers of the state’s economic growth and opportunity. As a creative problem solver, she is committed to delivering practical, forward-thinking solutions tailored to each client’s unique challenges.
Before joining GRSM, Nellie worked at a firm representing employers in wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions in both state and federal courts. She advised clients on compliance with employment laws, developed and reviewed employee handbooks, contracts, training programs, and workplace policies, and conducted independent investigations into employee complaints.
During law school and in the year following graduation, Nellie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Christine Byrd at the Los Angeles County Superior Court (Stanley Mosk Courthouse), where she gained valuable courtroom and litigation experience.
