Quiazia Huerta focuses her practice on employment law, representing employers in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related claims.

Quiazia brings a broad legal background to her employment practice, with experience spanning litigation, corporate, regulatory, intellectual property, and commercial matters. She is committed to providing practical, thoughtful advice to employers and helping clients navigate complex workplace issues effectively.

Before joining GRSM, Quiazia served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John S. Hodge, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana. During her clerkship, she gained extensive experience in legal research, writing, and analysis and developed a strong foundation in federal litigation and courtroom practice.

During law school, Quiazia gained experience in private practice and in-house legal departments, including with Canon U.S.A. and DTE Energy. She also externed with an entertainment and media practice group in London and represented clients through Notre Dame Law School’s Community Development Clinic.
