Ransome “Randy” Helmly’s practice focuses on litigation, with an emphasis on commercial and business law, construction law, and serious personal injury. He also has extensive experience in complex insurance coverage litigation and claims involving the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation and South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Acts. With a wide range of experience in a variety of practice areas, Randy has established himself as an effective litigator and problem solver for both business and individuals.

Randy has practiced with civil litigation firms in Charleston and Greenville, South Carolina. While in Greenville, he also served as a part-time prosecutor for the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Prior to entering private practice, Randy served as a South Carolina Circuit Court law clerk to the Honorable John C. Few, now a Justice on the South Carolina Supreme Court. Randy is admitted to practice in both State and Federal Courts of South Carolina and has appeared numerous times in each on behalf of his clients.
