Regen O’Malley concentrates her practice on the defense of insurers against both contractual and extra-contractual claims. She also regularly counsels insurers regarding complex coverage issues and represents insurers in defending and prosecuting declaratory judgment actions in coverage disputes. Her experience includes commercial general liability, professional liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, umbrella/excess, business property, life, homeowners, and automobile insurance policies.

Memberships
Regen is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA), Hartford County Bar Association (HCBA), and DRI. She has served the CBA as a member of both the House of Delegates and Board of Governors, and as Chair of the Insurance Law Section, where she remains on the Executive Committee. She also serves on the Bench Bar Committee of the HCBA and is an emeritus member of the Oliver Ellsworth Inn of Court.
Community Involvement
Regen is actively involved in her community. She currently serves on the Board of the Connecticut Humanities Council, the 501(c)3 state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and has volunteered for many years with the New Britain YWCA, including as President of the Board of Directors and as Chair of the bi-annual Women in Leadership Awards event. She also serves as a local alumni representative for Haverford College, conducting interviews and participating annually in college fairs.
