Richard Daniels focuses his practice on commercial litigation, employment law, tort litigation, and class action matters in federal and state court. Richard has experience representing clients on both sides and at all stages of litigation, giving him a well-rounded perspective to best serve clients’ needs. Richard’s clients include transportation companies, international retail businesses, licensed professionals, property managers, and restaurants, for whom he provides employment, transactional, and compliance guidance.
- Obtained dismissal of multiple intentional tort claims against corporate officers in their individual capacities arising from fraud and financial disputes.
- Obtained dismissals of several class action lawsuits brought under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”).
- Obtained dismissals of class action lawsuits brought under the Illinois Genetic Information Privacy Act (“GIPA”).
- Resolved multiple catastrophic injury lawsuits arising from trucking accidents.
- Obtained favorable results for a Fortune 25 company in multiple complex class actions in federal and state court.
- Served as second chair on trial team for a wrongful death case and assisted in reaching settlement prior to verdict.
