Riley Harris focuses her practice on healthcare matters. Riley has built a career defending providers and related entities with particular focus on long-term care facilities and hospital systems. She has practiced in state government, insurance defense firms, and corporate in-house roles, providing a unique and varied perspective on the healthcare industry. She prioritizes clear, proactive communication to quickly assess client objectives and deliver thoughtful recommendations and creative advocacy.

As part of HCA Healthcare for more than four years, Riley developed extensive knowledge of healthcare business priorities and operations. While in-house, she specialized in payor dispute resolution, including the groundbreaking No Surprises Act and its impact on provider relationships with out-of-network payors, large-scale settlement negotiations, and thousands of related mediations and baseball-style arbitrations at both the federal and state level.

During the influx of COVID-related litigation immediately following the pandemic, Riley represented long-term care providers in healthcare liability claims while in private practice at a national law firm.
