Robert C. Rodriguez is Partner in the San Diego office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Consumer Protection Litigation, and Product Liability practice groups. His practice is primarily focused on the defense of national automotive manufacturers against negligence and strict products liability lawsuits in both state and federal court.
- Successfully defended the County of San Diego as first chair trial attorney in a 2-week civil rights trial venued in the United States District Court, Central District of California. Plaintiff asked for $2 million in damages, plus punitive damages against the individually named San Diego Sheriff’s Deputy. Jury returned with a unanimous verdict on behalf of the defendants.
- Served as second-chair trial counsel on two automotive breach of warranty trials. Both trials ended in favorable results for the client.
