Samim G. Munshi is a litigation attorney with more than 25 years of experience in creditors’ rights, mortgage foreclosure, collections, commercial litigation, and civil disputes. She has handled high-volume litigation throughout Illinois, representing clients in contested matters from initial assessment through trial and resolution. Her experience includes litigation strategy, motion practice, settlement negotiations, post-judgment proceedings, and real estate disputes.

Before joining GRSM, Samim maintained a private litigation practice and served as local litigation counsel in a high-volume foreclosure practice. Her experience also includes representing governmental entities in civil litigation and serving as a court-appointed Special Representative in foreclosure matters.

In addition to her civil litigation practice, Samim continues to serve as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Illinois, where she remains active in specialty courts. This work reflects her ongoing commitment to public service, problem-solving, and collaborative approaches to complex legal issues.
