Samuel Y. Kim

Before joining GRSM, Samuel served as Deputy Attorney General, where he defended state agencies in employment discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and administrative matters. His practice included representing agencies in administrative hearings, opposing writ petitions, and obtaining workplace violence restraining orders.

His government experience includes serving as an Immigration Judge, presiding over hundreds of immigration hearings and managing a docket of more than 3,000 active cases. He also served as Assistant Chief Counsel with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, prosecuting thousands of immigration cases and handling complex appellate matters.

Samuel additionally served as Chief Prosecutor for the U.S. Marine Corps, where he prosecuted hundreds of cases, oversaw investigations, conducted jury trials, and managed a team of junior prosecutors.
