Susannah Ashton is a Partner in the San Francisco office of GRSM and is a member of the Employment Law practice group. Since returning to California in 2015, Susannah has practiced almost exclusively in the area of labor and employment law, defending government entities, large corporations, and small businesses in both state and federal courts across California.

Additionally, Susannah represents employers before the Labor Commissioner, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in claims involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and she regularly provides advice and counsel to clients on employment matters.

Susannah has extensive civil litigation experience in a broad spectrum of cases involving labor/employment, civil rights, education law, and personal injury. Before returning to her home state of California, Susannah practiced for several years in New York City.
