He has practiced law in large labor and employment specialized firms and served for more than twenty years as General Counsel for Human Resources at a large, multi-national manufacturing company. Steve’s practice includes commercial litigation, employment law, and advice and counsel to large and small companies on a wide range of U. S. and International employment law issues. These include, representation before agencies and courts; development and consultation with business leaders on policy issues and benefits matters; representation of management in all types of employment litigation- including discrimination claims, wage and hour matters and non-compete agreements.
He frequently provides guidance on reductions of force and government audits, including Department of Labor, Trade Adjustment claims, and International Traffic in Arms regulations. Steve is a frequent speaker and educator to management teams and association groups on a variety of employment-related topics and has served on the Board of Directors for local non-profits.
