Trial attorney Stephen Ronk has an active trial practice focusing on employment litigation disputes in civil courts, arbitration proceedings, and before administrative agencies. Steve also tries aviation and product liability cases. Steve has tried over 45 cases to verdict in his 30+ years of practice. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), has successfully handled civil appeals before the California and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Steve previously served as a pro bono prosecutor with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

- Obtained a complete defense verdict in a wrongful death action resulting from a helicopter accident with claims that the accident occurred due to a defect in the design of the helicopter’s main rotor blades.
- Obtained numerous defense verdicts on behalf of employers in matters involving, age, gender, marital status, racial, religious and disability discrimination.
- Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of an employer against claims of employee privacy violation.
- Obtained a defense verdict in a wrongful death action resulting from a helicopter accident with claims that the accident occurred due to a defect in the helicopter’s drive system.
- Secured a complete defense verdict in a civil rights lawsuit against claims of assault, battery, and civil rights violations against an officer and his employer.
- Defended employers against wrongful termination claims involving employee whistle-blowing activities.
- Defended employer against sexual harassment and labor code violation claims.
