Stephen J. Bell is a Florida-based civil defense attorney who focuses his practice on commercial litigation and general liability matters. He has represented several insurers in state court and has a strong belief that consistency, communication, and organization are the keys to successful and effective representation.

Upon graduating from Florida State University, Stephen attended University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2018. While in law school, he served as the Social Chair of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Association, where he organized social events for its members and students interested in intellectual property. He was also a General Editor of the school’s Journal of Technology Law & Policy, where he made frequent contributions to articles that were published in the Journal. He was also a mentor for the Black Law Students Association, where he gave advice to minority students on how to navigate and succeed in law school.

During his time in law school, Stephen served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Charlene E. Honeywell in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where he gained invaluable experience in the federal court system.
