Talysia J. Francis is an Associate in the New York office of GRSM and is a member of the Employment practice group.  Talysia focuses her practice on representing management in employment litigation. Talysia has defended employers in various types of employment disputes, including matters involving discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, challenged arbitration awards and First Amendment claims. Talysia has experience representing employers in state and federal courts.

Prior to joining GRSM, Talysia served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department, where she was assigned to the Labor and Employment Law Division.  As an Assistant Corporation Counsel, Talysia represented the City of New York and its agencies in all aspects of litigation, up to and including trial. Talysia is a recipient of the New York City Law Department’s 2022 “Legal Rookie of the Year” Award.
