Taylor concentrates her practice on construction law, insurance coverage, and general commercial litigation. With extensive experience representing a broad range of clients in both state and federal courts, Taylor provides practical, results-driven counsel across high-stakes disputes.

In the construction arena, Taylor has defended contractors in both complex commercial projects, class-action lawsuits, and residential matters, as well as engineers facing design and professional liability claims. Her practice also includes defending attorneys, directors, and officers in professional negligence cases, where Taylor combines technical understanding with strategic litigation skills to protect clients’ reputations and businesses.

Taylor also represents insurers in coverage disputes spanning first-party and third-party claims. Her work includes handling bad faith litigation and advising on complex policy interpretation issues, giving insurers clear guidance in navigating high-exposure claims.

After completing law school, Taylor worked as an Assistant State Attorney in the Cook County State Attorney’s Office, working in the Child Protection Division. Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Huey and Bluey, reading, and trying new restaurants in Charleston.
