Thien D. Tran

Associate

Thien’s practice focuses on commercial and construction matters, including litigation, contract negotiations, and corporate advisory work. He represents businesses—including developers and contractors—in complex disputes involving public and private projects, such as defect claims, payment issues, and performance-related conflicts.

Beyond litigation, Thien advises clients on transactional and operational issues, including contract review, regulatory compliance, and risk allocation. He also supports business teams with legal strategy, internal policies, brand protection, data governance, and public-facing agreements.

Before joining GRSM, Thien worked in both private practice and in-house roles, where he managed national litigation portfolios and advised on compliance, contract management, and internal legal operations. His experience spans construction, retail, and regulated industries, giving him a practical understanding of how legal issues intersect with business goals.
