Walter Deering is a member of the Insurance practice group in the Chicago office. He primarily focuses on fidelity and crime insurance coverage and cyber security and data privacy matters. He also handles litigation and pre-suit matters locally and throughout the United States.

Prior to joining GRSM, Walter worked as an Associate at a prominent Chicago-based litigation firm where he defended clients against medical malpractice and institutional liability lawsuits. During law school, he was a judicial extern for Judge Sue Myerscough in the U.S. Central District of Illinois.
