Wayne Gladstone is a seasoned litigator with a broad range of experience, from pre-suit risk analysis to trials and appeals. His litigation experience spans defending single-plaintiff cases to class actions, as well as serving as national and local counsel in numerous multi-district litigations for life sciences clients. Wayne has personally overseen hundreds of litigations to completion, either directly or via oversight of local counsel, and negotiated countless settlements.
- Defended energy clients in civil and criminal matters involving NYDEC/PADEP/NJDEP compliance, as well as claims regarding property stigmatization and medical injury stemming from oil exposure.
- Defended manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceutical, medical devices, and food products, serving as national and local counsel in multiple jurisdictions involving claims of illness from multiple causes including product defect, mold, and chemical (PFAS) exposure.
- Represented New York’s largest corporate municipality, resolving breach of contract dispute.
- Drafted numerous substantive motions and work products with an emphasis on FDA regulation, off-label promotion, and proximate causation.
- Headed a 50+ privilege review team in one of the largest document productions in litigation history.
- Numerous depositions included the successful impeachment of plaintiff’s damages experts on issues of brain injury and mold exposure.
- Vetted and developed scientific experts in matters of governmental compliance, environmental exposure, and medical causation.
