Once referred to as a ‘bulldog’ in court by a state judge, Whitnee Goins strives to help employers confront compliance challenges and mitigate risks by achieving successful outcomes in litigation and providing effective counsel.
- Defended and litigated lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges.
- Advised, counseled, and trained employers on various employment law issues.
- Represented employers in state court and at mediations in employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, and contract cases.
- Investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of federal crimes including white collar, money laundering, firearms, domestic and international child exploitation, human trafficking, identity theft, and the litigation of complex investment fraud, bank fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion.
- Negotiated favorable plea agreements that balance justice considerations with judicial resources conservation efforts.
- Handled all aspects of felony cases, including filing charges, conducting over 100 evidentiary hearings, and appeals.
