Lisa Altukhova works closely with clients across various industries to navigate complex scientific and legal issues, developing defense strategies uniquely tailored to each matter.

Before joining GRSM, Lisa practiced civil litigation at a Chicago-based boutique firm, where she represented Class I railroads involved in FELA litigation and defended clients in commercial and property disputes, general and toxic tort claims, and matters arising under Section 1983. Additionally, Lisa’s background in business development gives her a deep insight into understanding the needs and difficulties of a company dealing with litigation or other legal disputes. To strengthen her background in the environmental sector, Lisa took a program in Environmental Law and Policy for Environmental Sustainability at Loyola University Chicago, gaining a graduate certificate May 2025.
